What’s the difference for Wifi 5, Wifi 6, Wifi 6E and Wifi 7?

1. Standard different: Wifi 5, Wifi 6 and Wifi 6E are difined by different standards. Wifi 5 is 802.11ac, released in 2013, mainly improved performance and speed of 5GHz. Wifi 6 is 802.11ax, released in 2019, further improved performance and speed of Wifi 5, also strength the stability of connecting multiple equipments. Wifi 6E is 802.11az, it is extended based on Wifi 6, added 6GHz band, increased bandwidth and higher speed. Wifi 7 is 802.11be, also named 802.11eht.

4. Frequency different: Wifi 5 use 5GHz, Wifi 6 covers 2.4/5GHz, Wifi 6E use 2.4/5GHz/6GHz, Wifi 7 use 2.4/5GHz/6GHz and 320MHz.
5. Support users quantity different: WiFi 5, WiFi 6, WiFi 6E and Wifi 7 increased end users more and more, step by step.
